Enrolling at Naracoorte High School

Starting at a new school is an important transition, and we want every student who joins Naracoorte High School to feel known, understood and supported from the beginning.
Our enrolment meetings are designed to be more than completing forms. They provide dedicated time for the student, their family and our staff to sit together and build a shared understanding of the young person joining our school.
During the meeting, we will:
- Complete the required transfer and enrolment documentation.
- Map the student’s journey – where they have come from, where they are now and where they would like to go.
- Create an eco-map of the student’s village, identifying the important people, relationships and supports around them.
- Identify the student’s strengths, interests and aspirations.
- Discuss any challenges or barriers that may impact their learning, engagement or wellbeing.
- Develop a plan for a positive transition and successful start at Naracoorte High School.
Most importantly, we want to hear the student’s voice.
