Following on from her Teen Parliament sucess back in Term 1, Year 12 student Tash Moore was invited to be a student representative at the 2024 Bush Summit.
The National Bush Summit invites community leaders, policy-makers and politicians to discuss challenges facing rural and regional communities. These groups come together to propose practical solutions that opens new opportunities and improve services in regional Australia, as well as celebrate local success.
Tash’s down to earth nature and keen interest in all things agriculture won the hearts of the packed out crowd as she shared her passion around farming and her desire to pave the way for the next generation of up and coming farmers.
The Bush Summit MC Andrew “Cosi” Costello summed it up perfectly when speaking about Tash, “If you’re the future of agriculture, then you should be very, very proud, we’re in safe hands”, as quoted by the Advertiser.
We are incredibly proud of the way Tash has represented Naracoorte High School and the work she continues to do around advocating for students to explore their passions.
Congratulations Tash! We can’t wait to see what you do next!
